“The operational layer for dealership vehicle preparation.”
This describes the real value: book the vehicle, control the work, pass responsibility safely between teams, keep evidence, inform the customer and retain a clear record.
The product now covers a connected dealership journey from vehicle intake through Workshop, customer approval, accepted vehicle/key handover, capacity and SLA planning, valeting and collection. The honest sales case is to explain that operational strength without presenting ValetFlow as a complete DMS or mature parts-and-accounts platform.
This describes the real value: book the vehicle, control the work, pass responsibility safely between teams, keep evidence, inform the customer and retain a clear record.
The hosted service is the fastest route. A self-hosted installation or scoped API connection can suit larger customers with internal policies or existing systems, provided security, backups, updates and support responsibilities are agreed.
The estimate/approval, accepted handover and basic capacity/SLA gaps from the previous report are now closed. The next priorities should deepen Workshop and integration without turning ValetFlow into an oversized DMS.
| Priority | Improvement | Why it matters | Level |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Workshop parts, suppliers and stock records | Start with parts used, supplier, cost, selling price, availability and low-stock warnings before attempting full stock accounting. | High |
| 2 | Accounting export or Xero/QuickBooks connection | Keep operational control in ValetFlow while finance remains in the system the dealership already trusts. | High |
| 3 | Payment links after approval | Complete the customer journey from estimate authority to deposit or final payment without another phone call. | High |
| 4 | Advanced Workshop diary, ramps and parts-aware capacity | Build on the current capacity/SLA planner with bay allocation, drag-and-drop scheduling, technician diaries and parts-delay dependencies. | Medium |
| 5 | MOT and service reminders | Use customer permission and vehicle history to prompt future bookings and improve retention. | Medium |
| 6 | Group reporting across locations | Let larger groups compare site volume, turnaround, recleans, Workshop work and staff performance consistently. | Medium |
| 7 | Selective integrations | Connect high-value data flows rather than rebuilding full sales, finance, manufacturer and stock platforms. | Ongoing |
Plain labels, guided setup, dealership feature switches, visible stages and mobile-friendly pages remain a commercial advantage.
Customer-led changes need a written scope, testing, security review, support plan and compatibility with future updates.
