Vehicle Timeline / Audit Trail
The vehicle timeline keeps a clear record of what happened to a job and when it happened.
Open a job sheet and look for Vehicle Timeline / Audit Trail. The timeline records important events such as job created, assigned to staff, job started, proof photos uploaded, photo removed, quality check, completed, reclean requested and invoice generated.
This is useful when a dealership asks when a vehicle was started, who worked on it, whether photos were supplied or when a reclean was requested. Older job history is also backfilled into the timeline when a job is opened, so the audit trail can still show useful history for existing work.
For existing installations this feature requires the database update because it uses the booking_timeline_events table. After uploading the feature version, run update.php once if the table has not already been created.
