Importing Auto Trader stock into ValetFlow
ValetFlow can be prepared to import vehicles from Auto Trader Connect, helping dealerships add advertised stock to the booking workflow more quickly.
Auto Trader stock import is designed to reduce repeated typing when a dealership already has vehicles advertised on Auto Trader. Dealership admins can manage their own Auto Trader import profile in ValetFlow, including the Advertiser ID, default service, default priority and optional dealership-specific API credentials when Auto Trader supplies them.
Demo import mode is included so the workflow can be shown with safe sample vehicles before live Auto Trader credentials are available. This lets a dealership see how imported stock appears in the ValetFlow booking list and job sheets without using real advert data.
When live access is approved, ValetFlow can match imported vehicles by Auto Trader stock ID first, then by registration. New stock can be added as bookings and existing imported vehicles can be updated with the latest available details. Sold or removed stock should be reviewed during the first live tests so the workflow matches how the dealership wants to manage archived or completed vehicles.
For API setup, Auto Trader Connect credentials, the dealership Advertiser ID and the approved Stock Sync/Search endpoint details are needed. If no dealership-specific API credentials are saved, ValetFlow can use the platform connection configured by the site owner.
