Demo / Sample Content creates fictional dealerships, users, bookings, Workshop jobs and reports for screenshots, training and product demonstrations.
Screenshots should never expose real registrations, email addresses, phone numbers, bank details or customer notes. Generated demo content gives the interface realistic activity without using somebody's private information.
Generate enough waiting, in-progress, quality-check, completed, reclean and overdue jobs to make the dashboard useful. Avoid creating so many records that the screenshot becomes unreadable.
Super Admin can use Open Demo Login without a support code for sample dealerships. Test different roles so screenshots accurately show what a dealership admin, staff member or valeter can see.
Use a consistent browser width, hide personal bookmarks, close unrelated tabs and check the clock, weather and notification areas. Remove any temporary warning that is not part of the guide.
Delete or regenerate demo records when they no longer represent the current version. Do not mix demo records into a real customer dealership.
