Follow the steps below in order. You can return to this page at any time.
The Workshop module is separate from the normal valeting workflow. It is designed for MOTs, recalls, servicing, diagnostics and repairs, with the option to hand a vehicle to the valeting team when a wash and hoover is required.
Choose the dealership and Workshop task, then add the vehicle, customer, due date, key location and work notes. The guided Workshop form divides this into five stages; the one-page form displays the same information in clear sections.
Select the person responsible for the Workshop work and update the status as the vehicle moves from received to assigned, in progress, awaiting approval or parts, ready and collected. Use notes for delays or changes that another staff member needs to understand.
Each dealership manages its own task list. Starter tasks can include MOT, retest, recall, interim service, full service, major service, diagnostics and repairs, all initially priced at £0.00 until the dealership enters its own figures.
Add labour, parts, fees and recommended work to an estimate. Send the private approval link only after checking the customer email and prices. Staff should start only the items the customer approved.
When a Workshop customer has requested a free wash and hoover, create the linked valeting hand-off. The combined package usage should count the vehicle once, not as two unrelated jobs.
Confirm the final status, key location and customer communication. Where a customer progress page is active, close it when the customer collects the keys.
