Using ValetFlow on a phone

ValetFlow is designed to work in a mobile browser so valeters can manage jobs without returning to an office computer. Staff can add the site to the phone's home screen for an app-like shortcut.

In this guide Follow the steps below in order. You can return to this page at any time.

Sign in and check the correct account

Use the staff login issued by the dealership. Do not share accounts because job starts, photographs and time records are linked to the signed-in user. If the wrong dealership or role appears, contact an administrator before starting work.

Clock in and check in

Where attendance is used, clock in at the start of the shift. GPS and QR check-in are optional dealership features and are disabled by default. When enabled, allow the requested location permission and scan the dealership's current QR code.

Open My Jobs

The mobile job list shows assigned and available work according to the user's permissions. Open the vehicle, read the full instruction and check the due time before pressing Start.

Photographs and poor signal

Take clear photographs and wait for the upload confirmation before leaving the page. On weak mobile signal, upload fewer useful images rather than many duplicates. Do not close the browser while an image is still uploading.

Breaks and finishing work

Record breaks where the dealership uses them. At the end of a job, add any final note, confirm the status and check that photographs have uploaded. Clock out when the shift ends so timesheet reports remain accurate.

Phone permissions

Camera, location and notification permissions are controlled by the phone and browser. If a feature stops working, check the browser's site permissions before resetting the ValetFlow account.
