Why I built ValetFlow
Hi, I’m Steven.
I built ValetFlow after spending over two decades working hands-on in the valeting bays of busy dealerships. For 20 years, I lived and breathed this industry, and I saw the exact same frustrations repeating themselves day in and day out.
When the day gets moving and the pressure is on, chaos can easily take over. Paper job sheets get misplaced, WhatsApp messages get buried in endless group chats, and vital notes are only remembered by one person. Managers are left constantly chasing their tails, asking the same questions over and over:
- Which vehicles are still waiting?
- Who is actually working on each job?
- Have the before and after photos been taken?
- Has that reclean been completed yet?
- What actually happened with that specific car?
But beyond the disorganized communication, there was one recurring nightmare that always caused the most friction: unreported vehicle damage. We’ve all been there. A scratch or a dent is found on the forecourt, nobody owns up to it, and suddenly the blame game starts. Everyone points fingers, trust breaks down between departments, and managers are left in the dark about when or where the damage actually happened.
I created ValetFlow to completely eliminate that toxic culture of blame. The system meticulously logs every single event, status update, and action in real-time. If a vehicle arrives with existing damage, it is captured and logged immediately with before photos and damage records—before a sponge even touches the paintwork. There are no more arguments and no more pointing fingers. Just a clear, unquestionable timeline of exactly what happened and who handled it.
ValetFlow was built to answer those daily questions quickly, clearly, and in one single place. It is not designed to add more screens to look at or complicate your working day. It’s built by someone who knows the job inside out, designed purely to protect your team, log the truth, and help your dealership stay organized when the pressure is on.
