Follow the steps below in order. You can return to this page at any time.
The Live Job Board gives the team a shared view of current work. Jobs are grouped by status so staff can see what is waiting, in progress, awaiting quality checks, completed, returned for rework or overdue.
The board is most useful when staff update jobs as work happens. Leaving a vehicle in Awaiting Valet after work has started makes the whole queue misleading. Encourage staff to start, pause and complete jobs from the actual job sheet.
Customer-waiting, overdue and due-soon indicators should guide attention. They do not replace a manager's judgement, but they reduce the chance of an urgent handover being hidden among routine work.
Open a card to assign the job or review the full instruction. Do not rely only on the registration displayed on the board; the job sheet contains the service, notes, photographs and location information.
The board refreshes periodically and pauses background polling when the browser tab is hidden. If a change does not appear immediately, wait for the next refresh or reload the page before creating a duplicate booking.
Filter by dealership, status, staff member or due date where available. During a handover rush, a focused view is often more useful than displaying every job across every location.
Before closing, review vehicles still marked in progress, overdue or awaiting quality check. Confirm whether they are genuinely unfinished or simply left in the wrong status.
