Timesheets help managers understand attendance and hours worked, but they are only useful when staff clock in and out consistently.

Clocking in

Staff should use their own account at the start of the shift. GPS and QR verification are optional and should be enabled only where the dealership has explained the process and the devices can use it reliably.

Breaks

Record breaks according to the dealership's settings, including whether a break is paid or unpaid. Do not use a job pause as a substitute for the attendance break record.

Clocking out

Clock out when the shift ends. Leaving a session open overnight creates misleading payroll totals and may require a manager correction.

Manager review

Check missing clock-outs, unusually long shifts, overlapping records and manual edits. Corrections should include a reason and should not be used to hide genuine attendance information.

Invoices and payroll

Timesheet information can support staff invoices or payroll checks, but ValetFlow does not replace professional payroll, tax or employment advice. Export or compare the records with the dealership's approved payment process.
