Job messages keep operational conversations attached to the relevant vehicle, while the Weather Planner helps managers prepare for rain, wind and temperature changes.

Use job messages for vehicle-specific information

Send a message from the job when the note relates to that vehicle, such as missing keys, extra work, access delay or a question for the dealership. General team announcements belong in the normal message inbox.

Write messages another person can act on

Include the problem, what is needed and any deadline. “Keys missing from service desk; please confirm before 11:00” is more useful than “Where are keys?”

Read the three-day forecast

The dashboard weather box uses the dealership postcode and shows today plus the next two days. It includes conditions, temperatures, rain, wind, risk and practical advice.

Plan rather than react

Use the forecast to move exterior work, prepare covered space or protect completed vehicles. Weather advice is guidance, not a guarantee, so check current site conditions as well.

Keep customer communication accurate

Do not promise a completion time solely from the forecast. Record any weather delay on the job and update the dealership or customer when the plan changes.
