What it does
\nThe temporary /valeter portal uses the normal ValetFlow login and database. It lets valeters view My Active Jobs, Available Jobs and Finished Today, open a job, start or finish work, pause or resume a job, log pre-valet condition checks, upload proof photos and send job messages.\n\nMessages
\nValeters get a phone-friendly Messages tab showing unread job message counts and job threads. Opening a thread takes the valeter back to the correct job sheet, where replies are saved into the same booking_messages history used by the main website.\n\nDamage map
\nThe mobile job sheet and the main job sheet include a tappable, square vehicle diagram. The user selects a damage type such as dent, scratch, lacquer peel, paint chip, scuff, cracked trim, wheel damage, glass chip, interior mark or other damage, then taps the diagram to place a coloured cross. Damage reporting now focuses on the map and notes rather than separate damage-report photo uploads.\n\nWhy it is temporary
\nThe portal is separate from the main Android app API and is contained in the /valeter folder so it can be disabled or removed later once the Android APK workflow is ready. It is not hardcoded with demo jobs; it reads the same dealership and booking data as the website.\n\nAccess rules
\n- \nOnly active Valeter users can access it\nIt respects dealership licence checks\nIt respects the Valeter Mobile Portal feature control\nGeneral proof photos still use the existing booking_photos proof system\nDamage reports focus on the damage map and use the existing pre-valet condition check and booking_damage_markers systems\nMessages use the existing booking_messages job-message system\n
