In this guide Follow the steps below in order. You can return to this page at any time.
The Message Inbox is for communication between authorised ValetFlow users. Job-specific conversations should remain linked to the job wherever possible.

Choose the right place

Use the main inbox for general operational messages, shift information or a question that is not tied to one vehicle. Use job messaging for keys, damage, delays and additional work on a specific registration.

Write clear subjects and requests

State what you need and when. Avoid sending several short messages that split one request across the conversation.

Unread and notifications

The top navigation refreshes unread counts periodically. Opening or marking a message should update its state. If the count appears stale, reload before sending a duplicate.

Privacy

Do not send bank details, passwords or unnecessary customer personal information. Use the dedicated protected pages for payment details and account settings.

Keep decisions on the job

When a message changes the work instruction, copy the final decision into the job note or estimate so the vehicle record remains complete.
